It has been my privilege to offer legal services focused on estate planning, with a focus on Wills, Trusts, Probates and Trust administration. Philosophy
We live in a unique era which can be summed up in the language of an ancient Chinese curse – “May ye be born in interesting times.” While lawyers necessarily maintain roots in hundreds of years of tradition, we also live on the very edge of massively accelerating social and technological change. Uncertainty abounds.
What isn’t uncertain is the absolute need to plan for the final outcome of our lifetimes effort. We work all of our days and far too commonly make no provision for the fruits of our labor. Most make little or no effort to attend to the effective care of the people and ideals we spend decades in attentive devotion. It has been said that 70% make no estate plan at all and 2/3rds of those that do don’t effectuate a plan that achieves the individual’s desired goals.
Leonardo de Vinci said there are 3 kinds of people in this world. Those that see, those that can be guided to see and those that simply cannot see.
